Mahabaleshwar is a hill station situated in Satara district of Maharashtra. It is famous for strawberries & raspberries. It is also the origin for two big rivers, Krisha & Koyna. Actually five rivers originate from this place. They are Krishna, Koyna, Venna, Pratapgad fort is situated nearby.
